Fidelity Bank Plc, a prominent financial institution, has made significant contributions to the Tudun Amba Community in Lafia Local Government Area by renovating the Primary Healthcare Clinic and providing essential water facilities. This initiative is part of the bank’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts.
The refurbished clinic, located in the Workers Village, now stands as a testament to Fidelity Bank’s commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure in underserved communities. Addressing recent water scarcity issues, the bank also installed water facilities to benefit the local residents.
Speaking on behalf of Fidelity Bank, Nwagboh expressed gratitude to the community leaders for their cooperation, stating, “Our efforts today reflect our ongoing mission to support communities across the country. As a socially responsible organization, we strive to make a positive impact through developmental projects like this.”
Nwagboh added, “On behalf of the management and staff of Fidelity Bank, I want to thank everyone who contributed to this project. We are committed to helping individuals grow, thrive, and prosper.”
Nasarawa State’s Honourable Commissioner of Health, Gaza Gwamna, commended Fidelity Bank for their generous contributions. He emphasized the state government’s ongoing support for commercial banks to bolster the local economy. Represented by John Damina, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Gwamna urged the Nasarawa State Primary Healthcare Development Agency to maintain the upgraded facility responsibly, highlighting the importance of encouraging further private sector investments in the state.
“I call on the management of NAPHDA to ensure the proper utilization of this facility for the benefit of the host community and beyond. This will encourage other private sector players to extend similar support to other communities in the state,” he stated.
