Flavour Announces the Passing of His Father
Nigerian highlife singer Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour, has announced the death of his father, Elder Onyemaechi Okoli. The musician broke the news on his X (formerly Twitter) account, revealing that Elder Okoli passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2023.
In his heartfelt post written in Igbo, Flavour expressed his grief: “My father, Ijele’s father, rest well. God gave and God has taken.”
Condolences have been pouring in from fans and colleagues, offering support to the grieving singer. The family has not yet provided details regarding the funeral arrangements.
