News Flash: Acting Vice Chancellor Resolves Electricity Issues at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University

  Professor Kate Omenugha, the Acting Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, has received widespread commendation from students for her prompt action in addressing the university’s electricity problems.

After students recently expressed their frustration over inadequate electricity supply, Professor Omenugha took decisive measures to rectify the situation. Within days, she ensured that electricity was restored to many student areas, demonstrating her commitment to the welfare of the university community.

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) Attorney General, Apostle COOU, toured the campus to observe the improvements and gather student feedback. Students voiced their appreciation for Professor Omenugha’s efforts.

Faith Chukwuma, a student, said, “It’s a pleasure to say that our hardworking Professor Kate Omenugha is doing well. I’m happy to see light as I can now read comfortably.”

John Wilfred added, “The Vice Chancellor’s work is evident. All thanks to Professor Kate Omenugha.”

Ihechukwu Mmesoma reminisced, “I remember the days when many lodges were without power, but now we have light. We love you, Mummy Kate Omenugha.”

Tochukwu Emenike expressed gratitude, “I want to thank the State Governor for giving the Vice Chancellor the opportunity to serve. She has shown great leadership, including providing electricity to the lodges.”

Okechukwu Anthony shared his relief, “My parents used to complain about my phone always being off due to power issues. I’m happy there’s light now, and I can talk to my parents more often.”

Apostle COOU also informed students with ongoing transformer issues to remain patient, as solutions are underway. He thanked the students for their appreciation of Professor Omenugha and encouraged them to embrace the university’s core values: value, visibility, and viability.
