Paul Parker, a former Manchester United player, has called on the club to acquire Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton. Parker believes Wharton surpasses United captain Bruno Fernandes in passing accuracy and efficiency.
In an interview with MyBettingSites, Parker praised the 20-year-old’s impressive passing range and consistent performance. He emphasized that Wharton rarely loses possession and maintains a positive approach in his play.
“His range of passing is fantastic. He very rarely gives it away. He’s always positive with his passing as well. Very, very positive. I think he’s got a long range. His longer range of passing is good. Bruno’s is good, but I think he’s better. He doesn’t give the ball away as cheaply as Bruno,” Parker remarked.
Wharton joined Crystal Palace in January 2023 from Blackburn Rovers, despite interest from Chelsea. Parker advocates for Manchester United to target Wharton this summer.
