Singer Dauda Rarara Loses Facebook Account After Controversial Song on Tinubu’s Leadership

Praise singer Dauda Rarara has lost access to his Facebook account after a wave of reports from Northerners following the release of his latest song. The song claims President Bola Tinubu has effectively tackled poverty and insecurity in the country.

In the controversial track, Rarara sings, “Northerners have said goodbye to hunger, insecurity, and poverty,” crediting these improvements to Tinubu’s leadership. The song praises Tinubu for “making Nigeria great and addressing hunger and insecurity,” which sparked significant backlash.

Critics accused Rarara of being swayed by financial incentives, with many Northerners condemning him for ‘losing his conscience over money.’

This controversy follows closely on the heels of a personal ordeal for Rarara, as his mother was recently released by bandits who had abduct£d her in Katsina State. The song’s release also coincides with growing unrest, as youths plan protests over the nation’s economic hardships.
