Twin Sisters Celebrate 100 Years Birthday Together

Twin sisters Loris Pryor and Doris Ward celebrated their 100th birthday together in good health, marking a century of life since their birth in 1924.

On Wednesday, July 17, the sisters celebrated this remarkable milestone with a party attended by family and friends. Pryor and Ward, who have nine children and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, emphasized their inseparable bond.

“We are always together with everything. She ain’t go without me. I ain’t go without her. Always together,” Pryor said.

The twins, who still enjoy shared activities like casino trips, fondly recalled their favorite pastime: dancing.

“We did a lot of dancing,” Ward said. Reflecting on their longevity, Pryor added, “To live this long, I never thought it would happen or not happen. I never thought about it.”

Both sisters view their long lives as a blessing. “All I can say is that it’s a blessing to be here at 100 years old,” Ward said. “The good Lord blessed us to still see our family.”

Pryor echoed this sentiment, saying, “Life is very precious, or I wouldn’t be here. It’s just precious to live this long.”
