Manchester City claimed a decisive 4-2 victory over Chelsea in a thrilling pre-season friendly in the United States on Saturday evening.
City’s star striker Erling Haaland continued with his sting, opening the flood gates for Pep Guardiola’s side with a penalty just three minutes into the game.
Two minutes later, the Norwegian blasted from close range to complete a quick-fire double, leaving Robert Sanchez with no option.
The second half saw City’s Oscar Bobb extend the lead to 3-0, before Haaland completed his hat-trick in the 56th minute.
However, Chelsea managed to reduce the deficit when Raheem Sterling scored from close range on the hour mark.
Noni Madueke then closed the gap in the 89th minute, placing the ball in the far corner to make the final score 4-2.
