Victor Osimhen to Galatasaray is already a done deal, according to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.
The Nigerian star forward is on his way to Istanbul to complete medical and be announced new Galatasaray player on a season-long loan move from Napoli.
Footage on social media show the club’s fans are out in their numbers, awaiting the arrival of the African Best Player.
Manchester City returnee Ilkay Gündoğan, also shared in the excitement in an image shared by Romano.
He said, “Wow… Crazy,” with emojis of surprise, another showing Nigeria flag, and two showing Galatasaray colours – yellow and red.
Galatasaray had also made an early post with Osimhen’s mask even before his arrival, with a tracker of his flight to instabul featuring on their X page.
“All documents have been approved,” says Romano, including Osimhen’s conditions for the move.
To make the move, recall the Napoli ace striker gave the condition that his release clause should be watered down to €75 million, instead of a previous fee worth €130 million.
However, he was also forced to accept a contract extension from Napoli until 2027.
This will help the company club make a good bargain in any case of a permanent transfer in the future.
The loan move to Galatasaray will last until June 2025, with the club taking care of his salary reportedly worth €9-10 million.
