Chelsea is actively seeking potential replacements for midfielder Conor Gallagher, who may leave the club during the summer transfer window.
According to Sky Sports, Celtic’s Matt O’Riley has emerged as a key target for the Blues. O’Riley has also attracted interest from Serie A club Atalanta, which has made bids for him this summer.
Gallagher is on the verge of joining Atletico Madrid, with the Spanish club agreeing to a £34 million deal with Chelsea for the England star. Under manager Enzo Maresca, Gallagher has been informed that he will only be a squad player.
Negotiations between Gallagher and Chelsea are ongoing this weekend to determine his future at Stamford Bridge.
