Kylian Mbappe Acquires Majority Stake in Caen Football Club
In a significant move, Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has purchased the French professional football club Caen.
The French national team captain, who is currently Real Madrid’s highest earner, will become the majority owner of Caen at just 25 years old after finalizing a deal for the club.
According to Le Parisien, Mbappe will pay nearly €20 million to acquire most of the shares in Caen. The remaining shares, valued at €5 million, will be retained by Pierre-Antin Capton. Caen competes in France’s Ligue 2.
