Arsenal has secured personal terms with Real Sociedad midfielder Mikel Merino, according to Football Transfers.
The North London Premier League club initiated discussions with Merino’s representatives following Euro 2024. While an agreement has been reached with the player, Arsenal has not yet engaged with Real Sociedad, and no formal bid has been made.
Arsenal is eager to strengthen manager Mikel Arteta’s squad for the upcoming 2024-25 season. The Gunners are looking to improve upon their second-place finish behind Manchester City last season.
