He said the problem of Nigeria is lack of sincerity on the part of leaders and followers, stressing that when those who are in position of authority are sincere in their conduct, Nigeria’s myriad of challenges will reduce drastically. He noted that every leadership we have is a reflection of our decision.

Nsikan advised leaders to be sincere, while urging followers to criticize leaders constructively by offering solutions that will help to address the concerns of the people.

“Lack of sincerity is one of the major problems of leadership and followers constituted to the problems by being insincere. A good follower should be very sincere to himself, offering ourselves to be of service to our state and nation. The greatest quality of followers is to stand up to offer solutions.

“When leaders are sincere, Nigeria will go to greater heights. Followers should be constructive of leadership by offering solutions.

The Esit Eket born Chemical Engineer and business mogul, noted that there are many government policies that should have benefitted the people at the long run, but are quickly opposed by the masses, maintaining that if Nigerians have allowed former President Goodluck Jonathan to remove fuel subsidy at the time, Nigerians will not face the economic hardship that is starring us on the face now.

He further stated that he is in support of President Bola Tinubu decision to remove fuel subsidy, though the timing was wrong, stressing that if fuel subsidy wasn’t removed, the money will still go into the private pocket of few. He frown at the yearly allocation of huge fund to Turn Around Maintenance (TAM) of our refineries, saying such funds would’ve built two new refineries by now.

Nsikan, who is an elder of The Apostolic Church, urged Federal Government not to give license to operating license to build refineries to few privileged elites alone, but should encourage Modular refineries as it will help in production of petroleum products for home consumption.

He also commended President Tinubu on his policy to remove electricity from Exclusive List to Concurrent List, saying it will encourage more states to generate and distribute electricity for the citizenry.
