Chijioke Mbaoma has been named the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Player of the Season at the prestigious League Bloggers award ceremony.
The 21-year-old forward, who scored 18 goals during the 2023-24 NPFL season, triumphed over Sikiru Alimi of Remo Stars and Albert Hilary of Plateau United for the top honor.
Mbaoma’s impressive performance was instrumental in securing Enyimba a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup on the final day of the season.
