Union Bank of Nigeria has announced the promotion of 337 employees across various departments, reaffirming its commitment to acknowledging and rewarding exceptional dedication and contributions.

During a recent town hall meeting, Union Bank’s Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Yetunde Oni, emphasized the merit-based nature of the promotions. Oni praised the promoted employees for their exemplary leadership and performance, highlighting their significant impact on team success and overall bank achievements.

“These promotions not only recognize the hard work of our colleagues but also reflect our confidence in their potential to drive Union Bank forward,” said Oni. “At Union Bank, we consider our people our most valuable asset. By investing in their growth and acknowledging their accomplishments, we are building a stronger, more dynamic organization.”

Union Bank, one of Nigeria’s oldest financial institutions, has prioritized talent development as part of its strategy to meet evolving customer and stakeholder needs. Following its recent acquisition by Titan Trust Bank, Union Bank was delisted from the Nigerian Exchange Limited.
