In a fierce contest, Everton, Lyon, and Marseille are vying for Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, according to Elliptical News.
The three clubs have intensified their pursuit, each submitting offers for the 27-year-old Nigerian international, as reported by Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna.
Despite Lyon’s initial push to finalize a deal for Ndidi, they have yet to secure his signature, even after making a formal offer.
Ndidi, despite suffering injuries during the 2023/24 Championship season, was instrumental in Leicester’s return to the Premier League. The Foxes finished at the top with 97 points, narrowly ahead of Ipswich Town.
Since joining Leicester from Genk in 2016 for £17 million, Ndidi has made 224 appearances and scored 11 goals for the club.
