Strathclyde Business School in Scotland Offers Scholarships to International Students for 2025 Master’s Programs

 

Strathclyde Business School, located in Glasgow, Scotland, is providing a range of scholarships to international students enrolling in master’s programs starting in January 2025. These scholarships, awarded based on merit, cover amounts between £9,000 (approximately Rs 9.61 lakh) and £12,000 (approximately Rs 12.82 lakh), depending on the course fee and the student’s chosen subject area. A total of 35 scholarships are available, and students are encouraged not to submit multiple applications.

Eligibility Requirements:

– Candidates must be self-funded, meaning they should not be receiving other scholarships or sponsorships from employers.

– Applicants need to have secured an offer for an MSc program commencing in January 2025.

– Only those classified as international students for tuition purposes are eligible.

– Each student can receive only one scholarship per academic year from the university.

– Online and blended learning programs are not eligible for this scholarship.

– Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis starting in August 2024, with the final deadline for submission on December 4, 2024.

– Scholarship decisions are final and cannot be appealed.

Eligible students include those pursuing master’s degrees in areas such as accounting and finance, economics, entrepreneurship, human resource management, marketing, business, hospitality and tourism, management, management science, and data analytics.

To apply, students must submit a 1,000-word statement detailing their academic achievements, relevant professional or extracurricular experiences, and career goals.

Scholarship recipients will be expected to participate in various activities during their studies, including:

– Engaging with and contributing to future applicant forums by providing information about their course.

– Taking an active role in either the social committee or class representative committee.

– Volunteering as an admissions contact for prospective students.

– Assisting the school in event development and management.

– Maintaining alumni communication after completing their MSc.
