For over the past one weeks the crisis most especially the economic crisis in Nigeria has resulted into food inflation and shortage.
Most Nigerians have called for the resignation of the Executive President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the person of His Excellence Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at this point most Nigerians in several areas where this hardship hits rapidly example Abuja, Ibadan, has embarked on a serious protest.
There is a call for a protest being one of the ways in which civilians express themselves in a democratic government. The protest seems to be having a wide influence on the people of Nigeria. There are fears that the protest might bring in anarchy in Nigeria due to the increase in insecurity and the abuse of power by the armed forces.
The Nigerian Police Force has asked Nigerians to stay off from any form of protest which is their legal right as a means of expressing themselves in a democratic system. The people of Nigeria plead that the armed forces should respect their wishes on the peaceful protest. As we would not want a repeat of what happened on the 20th of October 2020 at the Lekki toll gate Lagos (The end Sars protest)
Now the question is laid in the hearts of many Nigerians
