Another sad event occur as 5-storey building in Anambra state collapsed...the people of Anambra State has experienced another building collapse which was under construction, and some construction workers were said to be victims in the collapse.
The collapsed five-storey building located at Basden Street is in Fegge at the Onitsha commercial city, Anambra State...sequel to the incident, excavator were deployed at the incident scene. Affirming to the situation, the Anambra state physical planning board Chairman, Chike Mmaduekwe, said the government of Anambra State approved a three-storey plan. Still, the contractor went further in the construction of a five-storey plan.
Speaking has of now, numbers of persons reportedly trapped after the collapse of a five-storey building under construction at Basden Street, Fegge, the Onitsha commercial city in Anambra, are still yet, unconfirmed.
It was also noted that the building construction was to the purpose for commercial businesses on completion. It collapsed took place on Sunday morning, March 10, and its of notice that it happened when construction workers were on the last floor of the building.
