Engr Ekott Dedicates Birthday To GWR Attempt Records Breaker
Founder of Heritage Polytechnic, Engr. Dr. Emmanuel Ekott has dedicated his 2024 birthday to Peter Buhari for his attempt to break Guinness World Records 137 hours radio marathon, the longest radio presenter by an individual.
Engr. Ekott made the disclosure yesterday during a phone conversation with the attempt record breaker.
The Eket born Chemical Engineer said he is impressed with the strength of character, resilience and perseverance of the Ikot Usoekong radio broadcaster for taking the bold step to distinguish himself among the crowd, maintaining that the platform has placed Eket, Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria on the global pedestal.
He further stated that he is more excited to play a prominent role by providing the platform that has propelled him to achieved his goal of winning Guinness World Records, praying God to give him the strength until success is achieved.
Responding,the elated Peters Buhari said he is excited to be so honoured by his boss, saying he doesn't take the honour for granted. He added that his words of encouragement has strengthen him to push further until he hit the 137 hours target.
