Just in: President Tinubu Departs Lagos for Abuja to Unveil Key Projects

President Bola Tinubu has departed Lagos for Abuja to oversee the inauguration of several significant projects carried out by the Federal Capital Territory Administration.

The President left from the Presidential Wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 11:43 AM. He was seen off by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and other government officials.

During his time in Lagos, President Tinubu initiated the construction of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, a 700-kilometer project designed to spur economic growth and development in rural areas. He also inaugurated the reconstructed Apapa-Oworonshoki-Ojota Expressway, the rehabilitated Third Mainland Bridge, and virtually launched the rehabilitation of 330 roads and bridges nationwide.

In Abuja, President Tinubu will commission various projects, including the southern Parkway from the Christian Centre to Ring Road One.
