You are completely wrong to think that 100,000 is poor for inviting Sky B to a show by those organisers. A man Whose career was dead until you recovered him and made him relevant on social media . Forget old Glory, As long as music industry in Nigeria is concerned, Sky B is just like an upcoming musician struggling to come to limelight, And as an upcoming musician, He needs steady shows whether invited or uninvited to keep enhancing his dead career and maintain his relevance in the music industry.
For people offering him 100,000 to perform, wants to try or test his ability again and he made no mistake accepting that amount to show what he can do . It’s not really about the money but he needs to be seen again regularly. In this hard economy, it’s not easy to take a risky to invite someone you labelled mentally unstable in your video which to me was so harsh and unnecessary . We have organised different shows here in Enugu and there are a lot of upcoming music artists begging me to allow them to perform in Boolu Ogbe opening and closing games just to show their talents. These guys are ready to perform free of charge with the view of getting contracts from other people after performing and no one knows they came for free . One of them that performed free of charge last time later Got a job that paid him well and I think that Sky B is in that bracket and shouldn’t be insulted for accepting to perform for 100,000 . He knows his target and want he wants . Visibility is importance in social media business
Again , I was disappointed in lucky Udu for saying that Sky B he helped has not appreciated or posted him . My people, I want to let you know how social media works. Sky B was the person who helped Lucky Udu the most , He gave him more visibility, made him earn more in his verified page , brought more followers to him and made Lucky Udu more popular. Therefore, both of them helped each other because they all cashed out by coming together. Every blogger would want to help such person and get such visibility. So it was God that he should be thanking for allowing Sky B to grant him opportunity that made him more popular and successful in social media business .
