Napoli's standout striker, Victor Osimhen, has earned a spot in the 2023/24 Serie A Team of the Season, following another remarkable campaign with the Italian club. The announcement was made on Serie A's official social media channels, highlighting Osimhen's continued impact on the league.
Despite not matching his prolific 2022/23 season, where he led the league with 26 goals and played a crucial role in securing Napoli's first Scudetto in over three decades, Osimhen still delivered impressive stats. The Nigerian international scored 15 goals and provided three assists in 24 league appearances, even as Napoli faced significant challenges, losing 11 matches and winning only 13.
Osimhen's contributions have kept him as Napoli’s top scorer and the third-highest scorer in Serie A this season. He was outscored only by Inter Milan's Lautaro Martínez, who netted 24 goals, and Juventus's Dušan Vlahović, with 16 goals. Both Martínez and Vlahović join Osimhen in the Team of the Season, recognizing their outstanding performances.

Meanwhile, despite Samuel Chukwueze missing out, his AC Milan teammates Christian Pulisic, Theo Hernandez, Olivier Giroud, and Rafael Leao were included in the elite selection alongside Osimhen.
