Renowned Nollywood actor John Okafor, famously known as Mr. Ibu, is set to be buried on June 28, 2024, in his hometown of Amuri, Nkanu West Local Government Area, Enugu State.
A special committee has been established to organize the burial, which will feature a star-studded tribute performance at the Base Event Center in Enugu and a novelty match in Mr. Ibu's honor. The event aims to be a memorable and historic occasion.
The committee has also clarified that the family is not soliciting funds for the burial, warning that any claims to the contrary are misleading.
