The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has initiated an investigation into the brutal murder of retired Nigerian Army Brigadier General Uwem Harold Udokwe.
According to ELLIPTICAL NEWS, General Udokwe was killed by suspected armed robbers in Abuja on Saturday.
Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed that the attack occurred at Sunshine Homes Estate around 3 am. Upon receiving the report, FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Benneth C. Igweh, ordered a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
CP Igweh extended condolences to the bereaved family and assured the public of prompt justice, promising that those responsible for the crime would be apprehended and prosecuted.
