David Beckham Knew Victoria Beckham Was "The One" Before They Met

Football icon David Beckham recently shared a heartfelt revelation about his relationship with wife Victoria Beckham, ahead of their upcoming 25th wedding anniversary on July 4.

In an interview with The Sun, Beckham, 49, disclosed that he had a premonition about his future with Victoria, 50, even before they officially crossed paths. Beckham recalled seeing Victoria in a Spice Girls music video while abroad with his England team mate Gary Neville. Pointing at the screen during the song "Say You'll Be There," Beckham confidently declared to Neville, "That's the girl for me, and I'm going to get her."

Reflecting on Victoria's impact on him, Beckham praised her eyes and face, describing her as his ideal of perfection. Victoria, on the other hand, admitted to having fancied David long before they met in person. She vividly remembered seeing photos of different footballers in a magazine and thinking "Gorgeous" upon seeing David's picture.

Their paths finally crossed in 1997 at a Manchester United match, where Victoria approached David and initiated their first encounter with a simple "hi" across the room. Victoria later penned a letter to her 18-year-old self for Vogue, recalling how David stood out from the crowd with his cute smile and close-knit family.

Their relationship quickly blossomed, and by January 1998, David and Victoria announced their engagement, just months before welcoming their first child together, Brooklyn. The couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in 1999, and today, they are proud parents to four children: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.

As they prepare to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary, David and Victoria Beckham's enduring love story continues to captivate fans worldwide.
