The Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, has pledged to take action against two individuals allegedly caught on tape disposing of trash into floodwaters.
A photograph circulated on social media depicts a man and a woman maneuvering a drum on a flooded street. The social media user who shared the image claimed that the accused were seen dumping waste into the floodwater.
In response to the post, Commissioner Wahab vowed to ensure that appropriate measures are taken against the individuals involved.
