Just in: Victor Osimhen Set for €4 Million Wage Increase at PSG

Victor Osimhen is poised for a €4 million annual wage increase as he prepares to join Paris Saint-Germain, with personal terms reportedly agreed upon between the Nigerian striker and the French champions, according to PUNCH Sports Extra.

Tuttosport reports that Osimhen has consented to a five-year contract with PSG, valued at €14 million per season, a significant rise from his current €10 million salary at Napoli.

Roberto Calenda, Osimhen’s agent, was in Paris this week to finalize negotiations. However, PSG still needs to strike a deal with Napoli to complete the transfer.

While Napoli and their new coach Antonio Conte are open to selling Osimhen, PSG is hesitant to meet the €130 million release clause. They are considering a €100 million offer plus a player to secure the deal.

Sky Sport Italia revealed that PSG proposed including Carlos Soler, Nordi Mukiele, or Lee Kang-in in the transfer package.

Napoli, in turn, is eyeing Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku as a potential replacement for Osimhen. They are looking to sell players to fund new acquisitions for Conte’s squad, with Osimhen’s departure paving the way for Lukaku’s pursuit.

Despite interest from Saudi Pro League’s Al Ahli, Osimhen remains focused on his European career, particularly the Premier League.

Throughout pre-season training with Napoli, Osimhen has maintained professionalism and impressed Conte, despite not being in his plans for the upcoming season.
