Labour Party Secures Decisive Victory in UK General Election, Ending Conservative Era

 The Labour Party has won a sweeping victory in the UK general election, bringing an end to 14 years of Conservative governance. Keir Starmer, a former human rights lawyer and prosecutor, is poised to become the new Prime Minister, leading a centre-left administration.

With vote counting underway for the 650 seats in the House of Commons, Labour has secured a majority by surpassing the 326-seat threshold just before 5 a.m. on Friday.
