Lagos Police Arrest Couple Attempting to Sell Two-Year-Old Son for Canada Trip
Lagos State Police Command arrested a couple, aged 28 and 22, for attempting to sell their two-year-old son to fund a trip to Canada.
The couple was apprehended at Isolo General Hospital after expressing their intention to sell their child. SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the arrest and stated that the child has been rescued.
The couple admitted their motive was to facilitate the man's travel for better opportunities abroad. Investigations are ongoing.
