Riccardo Calafiori is set to make his first appearance for Arsenal in a preseason friendly against Liverpool on Tuesday. The Italian defender has successfully completed the initial part of his medical exams in London and has traveled to the USA to join his new team.
Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal squad are currently in America, having already faced Bournemouth and Manchester United in their preseason tour. The Gunners drew 1-1 with Bournemouth and secured a 2-1 victory over Manchester United on Saturday night.
As Arsenal continues to prepare for the 2024/2025 season, their next challenge will be against Liverpool. Calafiori is expected to play for a few minutes as he begins this new chapter in his career.
