Joshua Iniyezo, known by his stage name Solidstar, has proposed to his fiancée, sharing the joyful news on social media.
On Tuesday, Solidstar posted a photo showcasing the engagement ring on his partner’s finger, praising her as a "good woman." In his caption, he expressed, "Good woman no dey easy to find."
The singer’s engagement comes after a challenging period in August 2023 when he was seen in a distressed state, struggling with drug addiction. His brother, Joseph, shared a video of Solidstar wandering aimlessly, highlighting his battle with substance abuse.
In March 2024, Solidstar publicly addressed his struggles, announcing that he had quit smoking and drinking alcohol.
Solidstar’s music journey began at 14, playing drums for a church in Delta State. His talent was later discovered at a show in Ajegunle, Lagos, propelling him into the professional music industry.
