Hon. Okechukwu Sydney Edeh Congratulates Newly Elected PDP Executives, Commends Governor Mbah’s Leadership
Hon. Okechukwu Sydney Edeh, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer for Nkanu East LGA in the upcoming Enugu local government council election, has extended his congratulations to the newly elected executives of the party. He also lauded the exceptional leadership of Governor Peter Mbah in facilitating a peaceful, transparent, and successful party congress in Enugu State, describing it as a new dawn for the PDP in the region.
In a statement, Hon. Edeh expressed that the party members in Enugu are pleased with the outcome of the congress, which saw the emergence of new leaders across various levels of the party. "Now, more than ever before, the greatness of the unity of the party is what matters the most. I, therefore, request that we all join hands together with the governor, our leader, and all the elected officials of our great party in building the future that we all yearn for in Enugu state," he stated.
Hon. Edeh specifically congratulated Hon. Dr. Martin Chukwunwike, the newly elected State Chairman; Hon. Patty Okoh, the State Treasurer; Hon. Nnamdi Nwafor, the Zonal Chairman; and Deacon K.C. Agwu, the Assistant Legal Adviser, among others. He urged the new executives to demonstrate magnanimity in their victory and to follow the exemplary leadership of Governor Mbah. "You must, therefore, continue to make service to your people the focal point of your administration," he added.
